Redefined Colonial
The challenge of this project was to redefine an existing narrow kitchen and create a new family living space integrated with the original home. The kitchen was reoriented, extending it toward a new family space and backyard patio. The breakfast room has tall windows framing views of the wooded hillside and opens to the kitchen and family room, linking the two spaces. The family room has a coffered ceiling and inset fireplace with built-in window seats on either side.
